High drama in Koothattukulam as opposition UDF accuses CPI(M) of ‘abducting’ their own councillor who had fallen out with the party

The incident took place just before the voting on a no-confidence motion moved by the UDF against CPI(M)’s municipal chairperson Vijaya Sivan in which Kala Raju was reportedly set to vote in favour of the motion.
