President withholds assent for T.N.’s anti-NEET Bill; CM Stalin to hold all-party meeting on April 9

The Tamil Nadu Admission to Undergraduate Medical Degree Courses Bill was passed unanimously in the Assembly in September 2021. After the Bill was returned by the Governor, an all-party meeting was held in February 2022. The Bill was then re-adopted in the Assembly and sent for the President’s assent.
