Congress top brass confer on ways to strengthen district committees

Sources said the top brass of the party discussed a report by Mukul Wasnik on empowering the DCCs. Some key suggestions included consulting DCCs on important political developments, five-year terms for DCC presidents, not allowing DCC chiefs to contest elections for three years, and so on
