Highways Department takes up repairs to footpaths in Chennai

Footpaths along arterial roads, which were dug up for cable-laying work, are being anchored using cement concrete; Steel handrails are being set right and re-installed. Storm-water drains are being repaired and constructed at a cost of ₹3.5 crore
