India’s Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute to work virtually across institution, officials say

India’s AI Safety Institute, one of many set up around the world after the 2023 AI safety summit, will not be a “standalone brick-and-mortar” body, IT Secretary S. Krishnan said, emphasising that researchers across institutes would be able to work together there.
