Karnataka transport association, drivers, commuters welcome cashless treatment scheme for road accident victims

Bengaluru recorded 4,784 road accidents in 2024, with 893 fatalities and 4,052 injuries, reflecting a 3.9% decline from the previous year, while Karnataka reported 1,42,770 accidents since the 2021 launch of the Integrated Road Accident Database (IRAD)
