Kerala govt approves use of dredged soil from Vembanad Lake for NH 66 development in Alappuzha

Government permits extraction of soil up to a depth of 3 metres in the lake. A shortage of soil had adversely affected development of Thuravoor-Paravoor stretch of national highway
