NGT issues notice to Andhra govt. on Olive Ridley turtle deaths, orders T.N. to submit trawler information

T.N. Fisheries Dept. informs NGT that enforcing the use of Turtle Excluder Devices in fishing nets was not feasible at present; authorities from the State have been instructed to provide daily reports of turtle deaths from January 17 and details of action taken to prevent more unnatural or untimely deaths
