Sickle Cell Anaemia prevalence could be higher in the country, says CCMB scientist

A National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission was launched in July 2023 to eliminate the disease by 2047 by aiming to screen 7 crore people below the age of 40 years in high prevalence tribal areas
