Union Minister delivers 10-minute-long speech in Hindi without an interpreter in Madurai

The Hindi-Tamil interpreter was asked to step down at the beginning of Virendra Kumar’s speech as the organisers felt she was not equipped to translate what he was saying; organisers, PIB officials said they were not informed of the need for an interpreter beforehand, which forced them to find someone at the last moment
